Youth Action Team Youth Summit
Youth Action has co-sponsored the annual "Each One, Reach One, To Teach One" Youth Summit for the last four years. The Summit draws thousands of teens, community leaders and elected officials together for a day of panel discussions, workshops and entertainment.
Annual Toy Drive
This charitable event is held every year to bring holiday cheer and gifts to homeless children.In prior years, Youth Action was able to provide gifts and toys to hundreds of children that reside at Stenton Family Manor, Southern Home Services, Presbyterian Children's Village, Interim House West, Inc. and Eliza Shirley House.
Youth Action Team Public Health Project
On Saturday, July 25, 2009, Youth Action hosted its First Annual Day of Service-- Health Expo: Building a Healthy Village" at the West Philadelphia YMCA, 5120 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19139.The two-fold objective was to: (1) broaden the accessibility of health care to vulnerable and under-served communities; and (2) educate these communities about health advances that can improve their quality of life.The Health Expo included free health screenings, educational workshops, panel discussions, entertainment from local talent and Youth Action's 4th annual charity basketball tournament.
Youth Action Annual Gala
Youth Action's Annual Gala is the capstone celebration of our year of service. The gala draws company sponsors, civic leaders, family and friends together to learn more about Youth Action and to highlight the work Youth Action accomplished throughout its past year of service.
